Montecristo is a riverside lodge in the tropical rainforest, within the Private Montecristo Wild land Reserve, on the San Juan River, with unequalled natural beauty. It is an ecological and socially responsible lodge.
Challenge yourself with a journey into Montecristo’s rainforest or chill out by the river on pristine green scenery. Experience Mother Nature playground and immerse yourself in local culture and unwind in a biologically intense place. Experience sustainable living first hand and fully detach, as there is little in the way of communication.
The complex has individual buildings that are solid and secure, with wide, cobbled pathways for walking through the tropical gardens. From the dock, there are covered walkways for the protection and enjoyment of the guests during rainy spells. The site is for recreation, relaxation and learning, via alternative tourism with many adventure opportunities on land as well as in the river.
